OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER (COLLECTOR) POONCH LICENCE FOR VENDING NON-JUDICIAL/JUDICIAL STAMPS UNDER THE STAMPS ACT. 1997 BKM (1920 AD) LICENCE NO: ________________ YEAR ______________ 1. The Deputy Commissioner Poonch hereby grants to A licence for vending of __________________________ _____________________ stamps. 2. The licence is valid for the said person named above in respect of this premises located at 3. The licence is valid from _____ _ _ ____________________to________________________ 4. The stamp vendor shall comply with the conditions noted below, if he fails to comply with any of these, his licence is liable to be cancelled. Dated:_______________ Deputy Commissioner, Place:______________ Poonch (SEAL) CONDITIONS OF LICENCE. 1. The licence may be revoked at any time by the licencing authority 2. The vendor shall sell stamps only at the place mentioned in his licence and in accordance with rules framed under the stamps Act. 1977. 3. The vendor shall not allow any other person to transact on his behalf any business connected with the stamps authorized to be sold 4. The vendor shall maintain a register for sale of stamps in the prescribed manner and simultaneously make corresponding entries in the register of the daily sales of stamps authorized to be sold by him. 5. The vendor shall maintain the accounts of the sale of stamps indicating clearly the opening balance, purchase from Treasury, total sales to the public and balance at the close of the day. This plus and minus memorandum shall be posted daily. 6. The licenced vendor of stamps shall at all times keep affixed conspicuously a board bearing his name and the word "Licenced Stamp Vendor" in Urdu at the place where he is authorized to transect his business. 7. An infringement of any of the rules/condition shall render the licence holder liable for cancellation of the licence in addition to the penalties prescribed under section 69 of stamp Act. 1977 namely imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or fine not exceeding Rs.500/-or both.
